Safety & Security

Your child will be released only to those persons whose names you have listed on the emergency card. You must authorize Sunrise Preschools, in writing, if any person other than those listed is authorized to pick up your child. (In case of parental custody matters, legal documents with a court seal must be on file at the school). Children cannot be released to anyone less than 16 years of age.

Sunrise Preschool employees will require proof of identification
from any persons arriving to pick up a child. All telephone authorizations shall be confirmed using a means of verification that has been agreed upon between Sunrise and the enrolled child’s parent at the time of enrollment. Sunrise will ask for proper photo identification before releasing a child to someone other than the child’s custodial parent or legal guardian. Sunrise employees may not sign your child in or out of the school and they are not permitted to transport children to or from the school (other than for pre-authorized transportation of school-aged children to and from their elementary school).
